Saturday August 15th - Brimfield Old Settlers Day Parade, 10:30AM - ????
Show your Miata pride! You are invited to join the Brimfield Old Settler's Day Parade! This no-cost event will be a leisurely drive through Brimfield, IL. Other Settlers Day activities may be avaible, as well as beuatiful Jubilee College State Park.
Club members will meet between 10:00 and 10:30AM, Saturday, at the closed restauraunt off Exit 75 off I-74. We will leave for Brimfield at 10:30AM sharp! Line up for the parade at 11:00AM, Parade, and then either stay and enjoy activities or drive to the local State Parks.
You are welcome to bring candy to distribute to kids along the side of the parade!

An alternate event to the Brimsfield Day Parade, not sponsored by the Miata club.

An unofficial get-together; the Cruise-In at the Metro Centre is a regular event with many cars to check out. Attended well by the Mid Illinois Corvette club, Miatas are always welcome

Saturday, June 27th - Drive, Dinner and Ice Cream at Lou's Drive Inn.
A quick meet-and-greet; take photos of our cars for the website, distribute business cards, and enjoy the good company.
Meet at the parking lot near the Steak n Shake in Grand Prarie Mall at 5:00. Leave at approx. 5:30 for a short cruise (to be decided)! and end up at Lou's Drive Inn for food and ice cream.

Saturday, May 16th - Drive and Dinner with the Abe Lincoln Miata club.
Meet members of the Abe Lincoln Miata Club at the Decatur Panera Bread location in the morning, leave at approx. 9:00AM.
Drive to the Steak and Shake in Lincoln, meet up and leave there at 10:00AM
Meander northwest to Kickapoo Creek Winery, arriving around 11:45--Noon. When everyone is finished at the winery, we will take a short drive north through Jubilee College State Park (no degrees will be awarded) on our way to a 3PM late lunch at the Kaiserhof German restaurant in Peoria.

This annual drive begins at the Steak n Shake parking lot near the Shoppes at Grand Prarie. Club members will get together, show off their cars, and have a nice drive through scenic Peoria parks, culminating with a drive up Grandview.
Update: The weather was perfect, and the drive a great success! We had 9 Miatas show up, some new members, some old. All had a good time, and Chris took photos. Check out the photos of our drive here!
